The main function of the excretory system is to "get rid of wastes from the body." The excretory system is removing of unneeded waste from your body for example your skin is used to removes excess water, and salt from the body. Also lungs remove carbon dioxide, then kidneys remove different waste material and harmful substances that could hurt the organs.

Hope this helps!
