Well, if it’s nerve damaged, obviously an X-ray would be useless, as that would only be a way to examine the bone structure.
The best way to test his nerves is to check his reaction time by a few exercises and note whether his responses are late or lacking.

					                   The doctor will hit his knee with something called a Reflex Hammer. If his knee jumps that means no nerve damage. If his knee does not move, there is nerve damage.
