[tex] - 2(n + 3) - 4 = 8[/tex]

Remove the Brackets

[tex] - 2n - 6 - 4 = 8[/tex]

Evaluate like terms

[tex] - 2n - 10 = 8[/tex]

Find for n

[tex] - 2n = 8 + 10[/tex]
