Relative ages of surrounding rocks

There are two ways in determining age of a rock, these are Relative and Absolute dating. Relative dating is comparing age of one rock from another like in determining the age of your older sister from your age but either of your ages were provided. Absolute dating is finding the exact age of the rock like saying your sister is 10 and you're 8. In geology, this can be done through radiometric dating.
