Find the surface area.

Sol:

The total surface area is:

[tex]T=T_a+T_b+T_c+T_d+T_e+T_f[/tex]

Area is:

[tex]Area\text{ = Side 1 }\times\text{ Side 2}[/tex]

So,

[tex]\begin{gathered} T_a=10\times5=50 \\ \\ T_b=10\times12=120 \\ \\ T_c=12\times5=60 \\ \\ T_d=5\times10=50 \\ \\ T_e=10\times12=120 \\ \\ T_f=12\times5=60 \end{gathered}[/tex]

So total surface area is:

[tex]\begin{gathered} T=50+120+60+50+120+60 \\ \\ =460 \end{gathered}[/tex]
