Tom is drawing a map of the block on which he lives, using a scale of 1 inch to 160 feet. The actual length of his block is 1,800 ft. What is the exact length of the block on Tom's map?

since we have a scale of 1in : 160ft.  we just need to fill in with what we have...
                                         ?      1800ft

1800 / 160 = 11.25

The length on Tom's map is 11.25in
