1. You have 5/6 cups of flour. You are making a cake that uses 1/3 cups of flour. How many cakes can you make?

2. You have 6 1/2 feet of ribbon. To make a bow, you need 1 2/3 feet of ribbon. How many bows can you make?

(5/6) / (1/3)
(5/6) * (3/1) = 15/6 =5/2 or
2 1/2

6 1/2 / 1 2/3
Change to improper fractions first.
(13/2) / (5/3)
(13/2) * (3/5) =39/10= 3 9/10
