What basic form of energy is present in blowing wind?

Basically, the kind of energy that is present in the blowing wind is the Wind Energy. Most often, the blowing wind blows through a blowing turbine and in turn turns this kinetic energy from the turbine to the mechanical energy and later on to electrical energy.
