The like terms of the question: 4p + 3q - 3p - 3q would be the P and the Q. Therefore your final like terms would be 4p - 3p, and 3q - 3q. Your final equation would equal p because the q variables would cancel out leaving you with 4p - 3p which is equal to 1p, or just p.
