James is 19 years old. He is three years older than twice his sister’s age. How old is James’ sister?

His sister is 8 because twice his sisters age is 8+8=16 and 16+3=19

James is 19. that means take away 3 from 19=16 and half 16 =8. if we do that again. his sister=8×2=16+3
