What colors of light are combined in a television to produce thousands of different colors?

The answer is Red Blue and Green.

RGB is the standard for television out of which we produce the thousands and millions of different colours that the normal human eye can perceive. In our brains, we have receptors that are specifically designed to distinguish these three colours, that is also why the three basic colors are red blue and green :)
