Terrance runs 6 miles every half hour which would be 9 miles in 45 minutes(Take half of the 30 minutes in a half hour and add it to the 30 minutes to make 45 minutes do the same with the 6 miles to get 9 miles) Jesse runs 2 miles every 15 minutes, so she runs 6 miles in 45 minutes (triple the distance if the time triples). and Sandra's is already given in 45 mins. To compare these, Terrance is running at a rate of 9 miles in 45 mins, Jesse at 6 miles per 45 mins, and Sandra at 8 miles per 45 minutes. Terrance is the fastest and Jesse is the slowest.
